AI built to a higher standard.

AI carries real risk for the organisations adopting it. We reduce that risk the way it should be reduced: through careful architecture, sound engineering, and a clear view of what could go wrong before it does.

What we do 01

Adopting AI thoughtfully

Most of what determines whether an AI programme succeeds or quietly unravels is decided in the opening weeks, often by people who have not done this work before. We sit alongside your own team and help you make those decisions properly: the kind of system you can put in front of a board, a regulator or a customer without having to explain it away.

/01
Reviewing operations and redesigning the workflows and tooling that allow a team to grow without losing what made it effective.
Operational design
/02
Applied artificial intelligence: assistants, decisioning and automation, designed with provenance, audit trails and clear human oversight.
Applied AI
/03
Strategy and implementation across emerging regulation: AI governance, data protection, distributed-ledger compliance and cross-border concerns.
Regulation & governance
/04
Architectures that allow your organisation to retain ownership of its data, models and infrastructure, without sacrificing modern capability to do so.
Digital sovereignty
/05
End-to-end product work: research, prototyping, build and the early go-to-market work that gets a product into the hands of its users.
Product development
/06
Considered, transparent systems with the interests of the people they affect designed in from the start, rather than reviewed after the fact.

How we work 02

We meet you where the risk actually sits

The hardest decisions sit at different points for different organisations: deciding whether to commit, getting a first system safely into production, or scaling something that already exists without it falling over. We work in three patterns, matched to where the exposure is greatest.

/01
You have a hypothesis
Frame & de-risk

A short engagement to pressure-test the idea. We map the technical, regulatory and adoption risks, build a working version of the riskiest assumption, and return with a recommendation: continue, change course, or stop. Some engagements end here, by design.

/02
You have a prototype
Build to production

A focused programme to take the work from prototype to a system in operation. Engineering, design and regulatory work proceed in parallel. We hand over running infrastructure, the documentation that goes with it, and a team prepared to operate it.

Duration10–16 weeks
Team3–5, mixed
OutcomeSystem in production
/03
You have a live system
Embed & operate

A continuing engagement for teams running something live: AI in production, a regulated rollout, a platform under load. Sized to the operational commitment, reviewed each quarter, and often paired with the recruitment of permanent successors.

Every engagement begins with a written scope agreed before any work starts, and pricing put together after the first conversation, against what the situation actually calls for.

What guides us 03

Where we draw the line

Three commitments we make on every engagement, and three we will not be talked out of. The work we are willing to put our names to begins here.

/01 · Purpose
Make the case first
Each piece of work begins with the people it affects and the question it is meant to answer. If we cannot make the case for a feature in plain language, we don't build it.
/02 · Transparency
Show our working
We are clear about how our systems work and how they reach the conclusions they do. Auditability is part of the architecture from the first week, not an obligation discharged at the end.
/03 · Ethics
Decline what we should
Some work is more straightforward to refuse than to put right. We are clear about what we will and will not build, and about who our work should serve. The people on the other side of a system have a claim on how it behaves, and we treat that claim seriously.

Talk to us before you commit

A short note about what you are weighing up is enough to begin. We reply within two working days with an honest reading of the risk, the questions we'd want answered, and a clear view on whether we are the right team to bring in.
